LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT Lens
This Leica lens on the FZ30 has a combination of 3 aspherical lenses and 1 ED lens. Combining these lenses in this way generates high optical performance while preserving the compactness of the camera lens. Two ribbed rings on the lens barrel of the DMC FZ30 provide manual control of zooming and focusing.The FZ30s Shutter speed and aperture controls are quick to adjust. The shutter speed on this camera can be selectable from 1/2000 to 60 sec, and the aperture from F2.8 to F11, to meet a wide range of shooting conditions.
Lumix Flip-down and twist LCD monitor
The DMC FZ30s LCD is angle-adjustable which will save users from neck strain when shooting in high and low angle-shooting positions with this camera. The resolution on the new FZ30s LCD has increased by 180% compared to the FZ20, both LCD and EVF (electronic view finder) boast 230,000 pixels.The FZ30s high-resolution LCD and EVF allows the display of images even in tiny thumbnail size. Playback of 9, 16 or 25 is possible on a multi-split screen in addition to the normal 1 frame playback. This enables you to use this camera to quickly search for the photograph you want out of a number stored on the SD Memory Card, even if you are searching through a large number of digital images.
Lithium-ion battery
