Cheap Digital Camera UK Visitor Tip 1.
LC1
Bounce Flash
The use of direct flash on the LC1 leads to very harsh
and unnatural results. I've found the lc1s bounce flash gives
much better results. If the ceiling or roof of the building
in which you are taking the photographs is very high, angle
the camera and bounce the flash of a wall.

Back
up batts
It is vital that you get a Lumix that uses AA batteries,
if not budget for an extra (not cheap) Panasonic rechargeable
battery. You need to be able to charge a second battery (set)
externally from the camera. I missed some great shots at an
air show today because my FZ3s bat died on me.

Pop up
flash
I don't yet own a Lumix but am planning to do so, but one
word of advice, ultra-compacts like the LS1 can suffer from
the red-eye problem due to the fact that the flash is too
near the lens, I am, and would recommend you should look for
one with a pop-up flash. With a pop-up, the position of the
flash is a few millimetres further away from the lens, which
reduces red-eye. After looking around this site (very nice) I
think I will save for a LX1.

It
takes a lot of face to fill a 16x9
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a LX1. I sell
real estate and 16x9 wide framing will make my properties
stand out from the competition (I won't be telling them how I
do it, they will probably think I have been stitching), but
one word of warning, don't buy a LX1 if you take portraits,
it takes a lot of face to fill a 16x9.

5.
Digital zoom, waste of money
Don't waste your money buying a digital camera with high
digital zoom. Down load an old cheap version of photoshop or
Fireworks and do the enlargement there.
Bones. London Docklands.
Cheap Digital Camera UK Visitor Tip 6.
Shop
around for a cheap camera
Don't trust a comparison site, or any one site that tells
you where to get a cheap camera, shop around to find a
bargain.
PJ. Whitstable.
A good place to buy a
Lumix Camera is the
Panasonic website as
this ensures you will get a great after sales service and
free delivery.
